Kara Haug - Educator & Co-Founder
Kara has always asked the big questions - looking for connections to our world and the way people interact. Through her experiences in human services, working with youth and in ministry, she quickly recognized most of her time was spent helping people reframe stories they’ve told themselves about sex and relationships.
In 2015, Kara created Grace Unbound, a resource for teaching comprehensive sexual health without the shame or guilt, but with excitement, engagement, compassion, and the invitation to be vulnerable. Reframing our Stories launched in 2020 and through these companies, Kara has worked in homes, with schools, churches, and community groups domestically and abroad speaking on various topics of sexuality.
She has her BA in Psychology from Hope College in Holland, MI., a Masters in Theological Studies from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA, Post-Graduate Certificate in Sexual Health Education and Counseling from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is a Certified Sexuality Educator. Kara lives in California with her husband and her two children.
Jenny Mohler - Co-Founder
After having Kara teach an in-home session for her kids, Jenny recognized the value of more open dialogue around sexuality in today’s environment. The world needs to hear from Reframing our Stories to begin changing how we approach sexual health at home, in the workplace, and within our schools and communities. She brings her corporate experience in business management & communications, along with her type A creative spirit to the table to help drive our vision to reality.
She has her BA in English from California State University, Long Beach, and MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She has worked for more than 25 years in financial services, telecom and information technology sectors in program, project, process, marketing and communications roles. Through these experiences, she has worked in business controls & management, strategic planning, process design & improvement, training development & facilitation, employee communications, and leadership development.
